Yes, Virginia, There Is A Santa Claus of the Day: FOX Chicago news anchor Robin Robinson sparks a minor stir in the Windy City when she dared to claim, live on the air no less, that Santa wasn’t real.

The station was flooded with angry calls and emails forcing Robinson to issue an apology.

“It was careless and callous to say what I said in what could have been mixed company,” she said in the broadcast’s nightly Talker segment. “So many kids don’t get to be children that for those who can live the wonder and magic of Christmas, I would never spoil it intentionally. I sincerely apologize.” Crisis averted.
