Art Project of the Day: Dutch directors Lernert & Sander enlist the services of makeup artist Ferry van der Nat and his assistant Vanessa Chan in applying a year’s worth of layers to the face of Akris ambassador Hannelore Knuts “to see how much is needed to go from a natural look to an outrageous one.”

I just thought of the makeup I put on every day, which is a lot more than this. A year’s worth all at once would render me completely unable to move my eyes.

Gross. I wear a little cover up under my eyes and eye liner and that is IT. I mostly am beauty retarded and have no patience to do all that.
